"No Place for Hardik! These Players Must Be in the T20 World Cup Squad"

Hey, cricket enthusiasts! As Team India gears up for another ICC trophy challenge under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, there's a buzzing anticipation for what the squad will look like for the upcoming T20 World Cup, slated to be held in the USA and West Indies. With the hunt for the elusive ICC trophy ongoing for the past 11 years, this presents yet another golden opportunity for the Indian team.

Rohit Sharma will captain the side, and there's no doubt about Virat Kohli's inclusion in the team, considering his current form. Former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad's tweet has stirred the pot by recommending three players for the selection committee's consideration. He asserts that Shivam Dube, known for his aggressive batting against spinners, should be part of the squad. Additionally, he suggests that Suryakumar Yadav, hailed as the best T20 International batter, and finisher Rinku Singh must make the team. "Having these three in the final squad for the T20 World Cup would be fantastic," Prasad tweeted. This indirectly implies a challenging path for all-rounder Hardik Pandya's inclusion in the team.

Post his injury during the ODI World Cup, Hardik exited the competition early during the league rounds. He then joined Mumbai Indians through a trade window and took up the captaincy. However, his leadership has seen the team underperform, with three losses out of four matches played under his captaincy. Hardik's personal performance has also been lacking both in batting and bowling. It remains to be seen whether he makes the cut for the T20 World Cup squad.

On the other hand, playing for Chennai Super Kings, Shivam Dube has scored 176 runs at a strike rate of 160, including a half-century, particularly dominating spinners. This puts the selection committee's decisions under the spotlight as the cricketing world watches. The deadline for the World Cup squad selection is May 1, leaving room for changes until May 25.
