But there is no rule that women should not enter the temple. Girls below 13 years go inside and visit Swami. But women above 13 years of age do not enter the temple by themselves.Hindu Women generally do not go to any temple during their monthly periods. 🌝🏰

🙏🕉️🕯️🏰 In fact even Dalits of Gugudu village do not enter the temple. This too is just an age-old exception... No one has imposed any restriction on entry of Dalits. For some years women and Dalits are not allowed to enter the temple as per the custom here. They come and visit from outside. 🏰🚶♂️🚶♀️🚶♂️🚶♀️ . Though it started as a discrimination , despite the rules being lifted and now anyone can enter, but the local people are still afraid to do that.
