New Venues Announced for Bangladesh and England Series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced changes to the venues for two upcoming series involving Team India. These changes affect the T20 series against Bangladesh scheduled for later this year and the T20 series against England in 2025.

Bangladesh T20 Series Venue Change

Initially, the first T20 match against Bangladesh was scheduled to be held in Dharamshala on October 6. However, due to ongoing renovations at the Dharamshala Stadium, the match has been relocated to Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. There are no changes to the venues for the remaining matches in the series.

England T20 Series Venue Swap

In the T20 series against England, which is set for January 2025, the BCCI has also made adjustments. Originally, the first T20 was to be played in Chennai on January 22, followed by the second T20 in Kolkata on January 25. However, the venues have now been swapped, with the first T20 to be held at Eden Gardens in Kolkata and the second T20 at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.

These changes were confirmed in a recent statement by the BCCI, ensuring that the series will proceed smoothly with the updated schedule.
