New Law Against Exam Leaks Govt Introduces Tough Measures 📝🚫

Hey folks! The Indian government has introduced a strict new law to prevent exam paper leaks, which have caused a lot of trouble recently. The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act - 2024 has been officially notified. This law is here to ensure that exams like NEET and UGC-NET are fair and transparent. 📚🛡️

Even though the law was passed in February, its implementation was delayed due to election activities. On Thursday, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the Ministry of Law was finalizing the rules. The very next day, the Department of Personnel and Training released the notification, bringing the law into effect. 🗓️

Under this new law, anyone caught illegally obtaining exam papers, leaking questions and answers, helping candidates unfairly, tampering with computer networks, conducting fake exams, or issuing fake admit cards will face severe consequences. Offenders can be sentenced to 5 to 10 years in prison and fined up to ₹1 crore. If they are involved in organized crime, their properties can be confiscated too. From now on, any case of paper leakage will be registered under this law. 🚔🏛️

This is a big step towards making sure exams are conducted fairly, ensuring a level playing field for all students. Let's support this initiative for a brighter, more honest future in education! 🌟📖
