Telangana is about to welcome some exciting new beers to the market. The Telangana government has recently given the green light to Som Distilleries. Soon, you’ll find Power 1000, Black Fort, Hunter, and Wood Pecker beers on the shelves.
However, this news has caused some drama. Shares of related companies dropped by 7% in just a few hours! 😲 Also, wine shop owners are struggling to stock popular beers, leading them to sell lesser-known brands. This all comes after Minister Jupally's recent statement that no one had applied for new liquor sales.
Opposition BRS leaders are furious, accusing the Congress government of playing with people's lives by allowing fake liquor into the state. BRS leader Krishank questioned if Minister Jupally lied or if CM Revanth Reddy is making deals without informing the minister. He claimed that the Congress government aims to ruin Telangana with their actions.
