A high-profile case that has caught attention is the demolition of actor Nagarjuna's N Convention Centre in the Thumkunta Lake area, near Hitec City. The authorities, with heavy police security, brought down the structure within hours, leaving it in ruins.
Complaints were filed with HYDRA a few days ago, alleging that Nagarjuna had encroached upon the Thumkunta Lake and built the N Convention Centre on three acres of the encroached land. This isn't the first time such complaints have been made about this convention hall, but this time, HYDRA took the matter seriously. Following an immediate investigation, authorities found solid evidence confirming the encroachment. Early Saturday morning, the convention hall was demolished, marking the end of the encroachment saga.
