YSRCP leader Mudragada Padmanabham has made a sensational announcement following his defeat. He had challenged to defeat Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram but lost. Now, he declared that he will change his name to Padmanabha Reddy, with the Gazette publication process already underway. He plans to apply for the name change in two or three days and will share the details once it’s official.
Before the elections, Mudragada had vowed to change his name if he failed to defeat Pawan Kalyan. True to his word, he is now taking steps to fulfill his promise. He also commented on the election results, praising CM Jagan for his welfare schemes and questioning why people did not vote for them despite the massive efforts. Mudragada expressed his bewilderment at the voters' choices and suggested that future leaders might be discouraged from focusing on welfare.
