📆🛒A week ago, the common man was worried about buying tomatoes. The price of a kilo of tomato has increased from Rs.250 to Rs.300. Before 15 days, there was almost a similar situation in many parts of the country.
🇹🇬 In other Telugu states like Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the price of a kilo of tomato is Rs.150 to Rs.200. The tomato yield has increased in the last week due to abundant rains in the last month. With this, the prices are gradually decreasing. Last Monday, a kilo of tomato fetched Rs.63 to Rs.70 in Rythu bazaars in Hyderabad.
🌱Anantapur, Chittoor, Rayalaseema in AP and in Karnataka are getting huge yield of tomato. Tomato yield has also increased in Telangana. Besides, tomatoes of the first variety fetched Rs.30 to Rs.40 per kg in various farmer's markets of Hyderabad on Friday due to heavy shipment of tomato from Rangareddy, Vikarabad and Medak districts.
🍅🔽 The second type of tomato fetched from Rs.21 to Rs.28 per kg. Similarly, the price of tomatoes fell heavily on Thursday. Meli variety tomato Rs. 50 to Rs. 64 as the price tag.
