Medical services in Telangana are going to expand. In particular, the government will make some more ambulances available from them to provide emergency medical services to the people.
466 new vehicles are being procured for total emergency medical services. Out of them, 204 are general ambulances, while another 228 will be used for Amma odi . 34 ambulances have been allocated to take the dead bodies to their respective native places. With the arrival of these new vehicles that are being made available, people will get faster and more comprehensive medical services. Ambulance vehicles will be flagged off by KCR in a special program at Necklace Road at 10 am.
