Manchu Vishnu has issued a stern warning to Telugu YouTubers against posting trolling content. He has set a 48-hour deadline for them to delete such videos or face severe consequences, including legal action. This comes after YouTuber Praneeth Hanumanthu made some controversial double-meaning comments, which sparked a massive uproar on social media. Tollywood celebrities have already reacted strongly, and now the President of the Movie Artists Association, Manchu Vishnu, has stepped in.
Vishnu expressed his anguish over the degrading way women are portrayed, stating it is unacceptable to view women merely as sexual objects. He questioned if these YouTubers do not have mothers, sisters, wives, or daughters, emphasizing the need to respect women. He warned YouTubers and trolls creating such videos about actors to delete them within 48 hours or face strict actions. Vishnu threatened to work with YouTube to review and block such accounts and take legal steps if necessary.
Additionally, the police have already arrested Praneeth following the registration of a case against him.
