According to the story told by the police, G. Raghavendra Rao, who lives in Nadarghul of Rangareddy district, is working as a teacher in a government school in Mahabubnagar.

On the 3rd of this month, Raghavendra left Hyderabad with his family in a car from Mahabubnagar. He stopped the car on the side of the road near Shamshabad Municipal Center at 9 pm and went to get fresh water. His wife and children waited for two hours but when Raghavendra did not come, they left for Nadarghul in another vehicle. After they left, it was recorded on CCTV that Raghavendra took the car. But his wife said that he had done this many times before because he was under lot of pressure due to the debt of construction of the house, that's why they filed a complaint late as he didn't come back this time.
