A young woman from Sichuan Province, China, is suffering from an unusual condition called the "Love Brain Disorder." Jiayu, an 18-year-old, reportedly made nearly 100 phone calls in one day to her boyfriend, who was unable to answer due to his busy schedule. Overwhelmed by her feelings and unable to cope with the non-responses, she started displaying erratic behavior, including throwing objects around her home and eventually attempting suicide by jumping out of a window. Her family had no choice but to involve the police, and she was subsequently hospitalized.
According to medical experts, while "Love Brain Disorder" is not a recognized medical term, it exhibits symptoms similar to those of an Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder linked to relationships. The patient shows excessive and irrational concern over small matters concerning their partner, leading to severe anxiety and aggressive behavior when things do not go as expected. This mental condition can escalate to a point where the individual may harm themselves. Experts advise anyone noticing such behavior to seek professional medical help immediately.
