Traders who are charging Rs 2 lakh as application fee are not backing down. During the last notification, the government got an income of Rs.1,350 crore. This time it is expected that the income will be more than this.
Although the response is good in all the districts, especially in Karimnagar, Rangareddy, Warangal, Khammam and Nizamabad, many people are competing for the tenders of liquor shops. While there are 2,620 liquor shops across Telangana, more than 2,000 applications have already been received. It seems that more applications are likely to come in the coming days. The deadline for applying has been fixed on the 18th of this month till 6 pm. Liquor shops will be allocated through lottery on the 21st of this month.
