BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) lashed out at the Congress government, accusing it of neglecting the agricultural sector and causing farmers to suffer. He criticized the Revanth Reddy-led Congress government in Telangana for failing to keep its promises on loan waivers and farmer support schemes. KTR stated that while CM KCR turned farmers into kings, the Congress government is causing farmers to lose their lives. "Loan waivers are fake, and so is 'Rythu Bharosa'," he declared. He highlighted the recent suicides of farmers like Surender Reddy in Medchal and Sagar Reddy in Jagityal, who ended their lives due to unfulfilled promises and mounting debts.
He demanded answers from the Congress government, asking, "How many more farmers must die because of the Chief Minister's betrayal?" KTR urged the Congress leadership to apologize to the farmers and take immediate action to prevent further tragedies.
