KTR Calls for Health Emergency in State Amid Rising Dengue Deaths

BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) expressed deep concern over the increasing number of dengue-related deaths in the state. Despite the government's claims that there have been no dengue fatalities, reports in various newspapers suggest otherwise. Recently, there were reports of five people dying from dengue in a single day, and today, additional reports indicate that three more people have succumbed to the disease.

KTR raised serious questions, asking, "Who is hiding this data? Why is it being hidden?" He pointed out that government hospitals are facing a severe shortage of medicines, and in many hospitals, three to four patients are being treated on a single bed due to the overcrowding.

Given the gravity of the situation, KTR has urged Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari to consider the situation seriously and declare a health emergency in the state. This step, according to KTR, is necessary to address the alarming rise in dengue cases and the strain on the healthcare system.
