#KejriwalSetback: Supreme Court Postpones Hearing on Liquor Policy Case Bail Plea 🚨

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has faced another setback in the ongoing liquor policy case. The Supreme Court has once again postponed the hearing on his bail petition in the CBI case. The bench, comprising Justice Surya Kant and Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, has rescheduled the next hearing for September 5th, as the CBI has not yet filed its counter affidavit.

Kejriwal had approached the Supreme Court after the Delhi High Court rejected his bail plea in the CBI case related to the controversial liquor policy. During today's hearing, Kejriwal’s lawyer, Abhishek Singhvi, expressed frustration, accusing the CBI of intentionally delaying the process by not filing the counter affidavit.

The Supreme Court, which had previously granted interim bail to Kejriwal in the ED case, has yet to make a decision on the CBI case, leaving the Delhi CM to remain in Tihar Jail.
