Kavya Maran Consoles SRH Players After IPL Final Loss

In the IPL 2024 final held on Sunday, May 26, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) faced a crushing defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 8 wickets. The SRH players and fans were left heartbroken as their high hopes were dashed in the final match. Among the most emotional was SRH owner Kavya Maran, who was seen shedding tears in the stands. However, she quickly composed herself, clapped for her team, and headed to the dressing room to support her players.

Despite the pain of the loss, Kavya Maran entered the dressing room to console and motivate the players. She praised their efforts, saying that wins and losses are part of the game and that they made everyone proud. This touching moment was captured in a video shared by Sunrisers Hyderabad on their official Twitter account.

Entering the dressing room, Kavya greeted the disappointed players, expressing her pride in their performance. "You have redefined T20 cricket with your gameplay. Even though Kolkata won, everyone is talking about our team. Today didn't go as planned, and everyone is upset. Last season, we finished last, yet our fans came in large numbers to watch us. So, don't be disheartened. We made it to the finals, and everyone performed brilliantly with both bat and ball," she said, thanking the players before leaving.

This video has gone viral on social media, and fans and netizens are praising the SRH co-owner for instilling courage and motivation in the players during such a tough time.
