In the Telangana elections, the campaign between Congress and BRS is running on free current, guarantees and declaration.
BRS is criticizing Congress for not giving 24-hour free electricity to farmers if it comes to power in Karnataka. CM KCR mentions the same issue in every assembly. Some farmers from Karnataka also staged a protest in Tandoor recently to protest that they were not given 24 hours free electricity. CM asks not to be fooled by Congress promises. He said that the promises given by them are not being implemented. Minister Jagadishwar Reddy said that he is ready to stand for 19 hours holding current wires in Karnataka.
As the BRS leaders are saying, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar recently said in the Tandoor Sabha that they are giving five hours of electricity to the farmers in their state. They admitted that they are not giving 24 hours free current as promised. Now in Suryapet and Kodada Sabhas, they said the same thing about 5 hours. Shivakumar challenged CM KCR and Minister KTR by saying that they will show what they are doing in Karnataka. However, Karnataka Deputy CM DK Sivakumar's statement that they are providing electricity for 5 hours is ridiculous, said CM KCR. 😄✨
