On July 4, 1999, after a relentless and bloody fight, Indian forces hoisted the tricolor on Tiger Hill. This victory paved the way to oust the Pakistani intruders from Indian soil by July 26, 1999. The saga of unwavering spirit and leadership supporting the soldiers continues to be etched in history," said PM Modi.
