She defeated her rival, Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh, by a margin of 72,696 votes. Kangana secured a total of 5,25,691 votes. She expressed her gratitude on social media, and her post has gone viral.
On Instagram, Kangana posted a picture with the people of Mandhi, captioned, "Heartfelt gratitude to all my family members in Mandhi." She thanked them for their support, love, and trust, emphasizing that this victory is theirs. She also attributed her win to the trust in PM Modi and the BJP, calling it a victory for Sanatan values.
Many have congratulated Kangana on her victory, including actor Anupam Kher, who called her a rockstar and praised her inspiring journey. He congratulated both Kangana and the people of Mandhi, highlighting that dedication to one’s work can lead to success. KRK also congratulated Kangana, calling her a true Rajput warrior who has proven once again that she doesn't know defeat. He expressed a desire to see her as the Minister of Information and Broadcasting.
Before the election results were announced, Kangana's victory seemed certain, and she shared videos of her mother blessing her with curd and sugar on her Instagram story, referring to her mother as another form of God.
