Jr. NTR has approached the High Court regarding a land dispute in Jubilee Hills, Road No. 75. In 2003, he bought a plot from a woman named Geeta Lakshmi. However, Geeta Lakshmi’s family had mortgaged this property to several banks since 1996, using fake documents to obtain multiple loans. When selling the plot to NTR, she hid this fact and only mentioned one bank loan, which NTR cleared in Chennai.
Since 2003, NTR has been the owner of this plot, but he has faced disputes with bank managers trying to reclaim the property. He even filed a police complaint against the bank managers for their attempts to seize it. In 2019, a charge sheet was filed by the police in this matter.
Recently, a Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) issued an order against Jr. NTR, prompting him to file a petition in the High Court. The High Court has now directed to submit the DRT docket order by June 3 and will conduct a hearing on June 6. Fans are keen to see if this long-standing dispute will finally be resolved.
