The central government has brought relief to the common people by reducing the price of rice. The government released Bharat Rice in the market on Tuesday, February 6 at 4 pm.
Food and Public Distribution Minister Piyush Goyal inaugurated the sale at Kartavyapath in Delhi. This rice is sold at Rs 29 per kg. Bharat Rice will be available at all retail chains including NAFED, NCCF and Kendriya Bhandar from Tuesday, the central government said. Bharat Rice, which is available at Rs.29 per kg, will be available in 5 kg and 10 kg bags. He said that it will be available on e-commerce sites soon. To control rising inflation in the country, the government first started selling wheat flour, pulses, onions and tomatoes at lower prices under the Bharat brand. Bharat Ata was launched in the market on November 6, 2023 by the government. While it is Rs 35 per kg in the foreign market, the government is offering only Rs 27 50 paise. At the same time, pulses became available at Rs 60 per kg. š¾
