Following the election results, the INDIA coalition leaders held their first meeting and made a crucial decision. Without the strength to form a government, the coalition has decided to take on the role of the opposition in the Lok Sabha. This announcement was made by Congress Party National President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday.
At a meeting held at Kharge's residence in Delhi, INDIA coalition leaders engaged in extensive discussions about the election results and their future course of action. They resolved to continue as the opposition and invited other parties to join their coalition. Kharge emphasized that all parties within the INDIA coalition would unite against BJP and Narendra Modi.
Kharge stated that the BJPās failure to secure a majority on its own was a moral defeat for Narendra Modi. He claimed there was significant public sentiment against Modi, leading to his moral downfall. Kharge also mentioned that Modi had suffered both personally and politically in this election.
