🏛️ Center will take up delimitation soon. It has already made several announcements. It means that the assembly seats as well as the parliament seats will also increase on the basis of population.
But there is a discussion that if delimitation is done on this basis, it will be a great injustice to the southern states. The delimitation issue has already become a topic of discussion in the states of Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Telangana Minister KTR (K Taraka Rama Rao) and MIM leader Asaduddin Oyic responded on Twitter. The minister tagged KTR and posted a report given by an organization about the state-wise changes in Manduga MP seats. According to the report, the southern states are going to get 26 less seats than they have now. Minister KTR warned that serious movement is necessary if that happens. KTR warned that people's movement is wrong if they want to strangle the southern states. He expressed hope that the Center will keep all matters in mind and that justice will prevail. Meanwhile, KTR's tweet was retweeted by MP Asaduddin Owaisi. Owaisi mentioned that South India is likely to be treated unfairly in the matter of delimitation. 👥🗳️📢
