Former minister Roja has strongly denied rumors that she might be leaving the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). Addressing these speculations for the first time, Roja said, "There is no truth to the rumors about me leaving the party; it's all baseless speculation." She clearly stated that she is not switching parties and advised those considering leaving the party to think again. She emphasized that no one will forgive those who betray the party and assured that the YSRCP will not be affected by a few people leaving.
Roja also criticized the coalition government over recent incidents involving women in Andhra Pradesh. She slammed the government, saying, "The government should be ashamed of the incidents happening against women in AP." She pointed out the tragic case in Nandyal districtâs Mutchumarri, where it has been 60 days, yet the girl's body is still missing. Roja also condemned incidents like hidden cameras being placed in college hostel bathrooms, terming them as "demonic pleasures." She criticized the SPâs statement that nothing happened in Gudlavalleru as unfortunate and urged the government to focus on protecting women rather than just following the Red Book constitution.
