On Tuesday evening, a devastating tragedy struck Hyderabad when a wall collapsed due to heavy rains, leading to the deaths of seven individuals in Bachupally. The incident occurred in Renuka Ellamma Colony, where the sudden downpour weakened the structure. Rescue operations continued throughout the night into early Wednesday, uncovering the bodies from the debris.The deceased were identified as Ram Yadav (34), Geeta (32), Himanshu (4), Tirupatirao (20), Shankar (22), Raju (25), and Khushi. The wall was part of an ongoing building project, where these workers were engaged. Authorities swiftly moved the bodies to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem and have begun an investigation into the mishap. Most of the victims hailed from Odisha and Chhattisgarh, working far from home to earn a livelihood.
