🚨 Hyderabad’s IT Corridor Gets a Safety Boost! 🏢✨ SCSC Launches ‘Safe Stay’ Audit for Women’s Hostels 💼🛡️

TL;DR: The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) is rolling out a ‘Safe Stay’ audit for women’s hostels in Hyderabad’s IT corridor. With 50 volunteers and Cyberabad She Teams onboard, the initiative aims to ensure top-notch safety for women professionals in the city’s tech hub. The audits are set to begin soon, covering multiple facilities across Madhapur Zone.

In a much-needed move, the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) Women’s Forum has unveiled a brand-new safety initiative for women’s hostels along Hyderabad’s buzzing IT Corridor. 🚀 Named the ‘Safe Stay’ audit, this program is all about making hostels safe havens for women working in IT and ITES sectors. 💻👩‍💼

Safety First, Hyderabad Style! 💯🛡️

The induction program held on Friday kicked off with a team of 50 enthusiastic volunteers. They come from different organizations, including SCSC traffic volunteers and the dedicated Anusandhan team. 🔍 Their mission? To ensure every hostel in the IT zone meets the highest safety standards! 👏

According to Srujana Karnam, DCP Women & Child Safety, this project reflects the Cyberabad Police’s commitment to providing a secure environment. With Cyberabad She Teams stepping in as enforcers, women can now breathe a little easier. 😌👮‍♀️

What’s the Plan? 🗓️🚨

Here’s how this safety mission is unfolding:

  • Audit Focus: From infrastructure checks to security protocols, the audit covers everything to guarantee women’s safety. 🔒🛏️

  • Previous Success: Back in 2019, over 267 facilities underwent similar checks. This time, the project spans six clusters around Madhapur Zone. 🌆

  • Upcoming Audits: Starting from November 2024 to January 2025, the team will conduct detailed inspections phase by phase. 🚶‍♀️📋

Teaming Up for Safety 🤝💼

What’s cool about this audit? Volunteers from top IT and ITES firms will assist alongside the Cyberabad Police’s She Teams. 👩‍💻💪 This partnership blends community effort with expert policing to make a real difference.

Why does this matter?Hyderabad’s IT sector is booming, and so is the need for safe accommodations. 🌟 With women professionals often working late hours, the focus on hostel safety is a huge step forward. 🕒💼

What’s Next? 🚀🌐

The audit schedule will drop soon, and it’s only a matter of time before the IT corridor becomes a fortress of safety for its women workforce. 💥 Whether it’s checking emergency exits or training hostel staff in crisis management, SCSC is leaving no stone unturned. 🧗‍♀️

This initiative is a reminder that community-driven safety programs can bring real change. 👏 Let’s hope this model inspires other cities too! 🌍
