With IT professionals away, these places become deserted, giving bikers the perfect opportunity to wreak havoc.
Weekend Madness in Hyderabad
These bikers, not just from nearby areas but from across the city, gather in groups and race their bikes at lightning speeds. They make loud noises, perform risky stunts, and record their actions to post on social media, seeking likes, shares, and comments for their dangerous exploits.
The bike racers have been causing fear among locals with their daring stunts, especially in areas like Mindspace, Raidurgam, and T-Hub, where IT employees work. With police surveillance being inadequate, these bikers have become more daring, even organizing bets and races.
Police Response
Recently, the police have taken notice of these activities. They plan to intensify patrolling to curb these dangerous bike races. The Raidurgam CI stated that they have already apprehended several bikers and registered cases against them. The seized bikes will be handed over to the RTA, and if minors are caught, their parents will be held accountable.
