Prithvi Shaw, who has had a tough time in domestic matches, is now shining brightly on international soil. In a thrilling match for Northamptonshire, Shaw's aggressive batting from the first over rained boundaries. He scored a stunning 76 runs off 58 balls, including one six and 12 fours. Alongside him, Gus Miller also delivered a spectacular performance, scoring 73 runs off 68 balls with one six and nine fours.

Their incredible half-centuries helped Northamptonshire post a challenging total of 317 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

Middlesex’s Incredible Win

Chasing a target of 318 runs, Middlesex's opener Joe Cracknell set the tone with 49 runs. Nathan Fernandez, coming in at third, scored a remarkable 83 runs. However, it was captain Mark Stoneman who turned the game around with his exceptional batting. At one point, the match seemed to favor Northamptonshire, but Stoneman's brilliant innings of 83 runs off 78 balls, including one six and 10 fours, led Middlesex to a stunning victory. They achieved the target in 48.1 overs with 5 wickets to spare, finishing at 319 runs.
