After spending five years pursuing a career in acting, he worked as an interior designer at an architectural firm in London. Later, he enrolled in the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. At the age of 23, he became a well-established actor. He gained recognition for his roles in films like King Arthur (2004), The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box (2010), Thor (2011), The Transporter Refueled (2015), and Accident Man (2018).
