AP High Court has stayed the construction of houses in R-5 zone. A three-judge bench of the High Court passed the interim order. Orders were issued to stop construction of houses immediately.
A three-judge bench of the High Court comprising Justice DVSS Somayajulu, Justice CH Manovendra Nath Rai and Justice Ravinath Tilhari announced the verdict on a petition filed seeking to stop the construction of houses. šļøš The AP government has given house titles to the poor in the name of Jagananna colonies in R-5 zone. Around 14 hundred acres have been distributed in the capital area. š¾šļø AP government has granted house construction documents to 50 thousand 793 people in Amaravati. šļøš¼ They objected that it should be given somewhere else instead of here as it is a city for electricity. šš« However, the AP government has given permission to build houses for 5 percent of the poor in the capital region. š”š The farmers of the capital appealed to the court that the decision taken by the government was wrong. We have to wait and see how the authorities react to the stay order given by the High Court. šš
