🌧️ Heavy Rainfall Predicted in These Districts, Orange Alert Issued!


The weather department has predicted the formation of a low-pressure area over the northern Bay of Bengal, which could move west-northwestwards over the next two days. It is expected to reach the coasts of South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh. An Orange Alert has been issued for several districts across Telangana, while some districts are under a Yellow Alert, indicating moderate rainfall.

The low-pressure system that formed over the central and eastern Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify and concentrate over the northwest by Friday. As it moves towards North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha by Saturday, it could turn into a depression.

On Friday, heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, and Jagtial districts. On Saturday, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Hanumakonda could witness heavy rains, with the possibility of very heavy rains in some areas. By Sunday, heavy rainfall is expected in Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Medak, and Kamareddy districts. People are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions.
