It is raining in almost all parts of Bhadradri Kothagudem district. ☔️. On the other hand, heavy rains are falling in Satthupalli, Enkur, Kallur and Penuballi mandals of the joint Khammam district along with Aswarauppet, Dammapet, Annapureddypalli, Julurupadu, Palvancha, Sujathanagar.
🌿🏞️ Due to the recent rains.. the flow of water in Godavari has increased. As a result, the water level of Godavari in Bhadrachalam will gradually increase. On the night of July 13, the water level reached 15 feet. On the night of July 14, the water level reached about 20 feet, and the water reached the Godavari ghat. Meanwhile, a heavy flood came from Chhattisgarh, which is next to Charla Vari Taliperu project in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. The full water level was 74 meters and reached 71.80 meters. As a result, the gates are being lifted and 2,196 cusecs of water is being released downstream. Bhadradri Collector Anudeep asked the district officials to be vigilant and take precautions to prevent any loss of life in order to deal effectively with floods in Godavari every year this year as well. A review meeting was held on the measures to be taken in case of floods in Godavari sub-collector of Bhadrachalam. A civil supplies officer has been placed to ensure that five months' worth of essential materials are available in all mandals of the Godavari catchment area. 🏔️🌊🌧️🌾🚜
