'HanuMan' box office Day 3: Teja Sajja's film picks up

Teja Sajja's 'HanuMan' is going strong at the box office. The film surpassed 'Merry Christmas' and 'Captain Miller's' total collection.

‘HanuMan’ opened amid multiple releases and a lot of hype and is surely standing out at the box office. The film picked pace at the box office on Day 3 and is going strong. Teja Sajja's ‘HanuMan’ opened to Rs 4.15 crore at the box office. With positive reviews and great word of mouth, the film earned double the very next day and is only growing strong at the box office. Day 3 early estimates suggest that the film earned Rs 15.50 crore, taking the total collection to Rs 40.15 crore. ‘HanuMan’ director Prasanth Varma exclusively spoke to IndiaToday.in and revealed that they have donated Rs 14 lakh towards the construction of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir from its Day 1 collection. The team has decided to donate Rs 5 from every ticket that was sold from the film to the construction of Ayodhya's Ram Mandir. During a media event, South superstar Chiranjeevi shared this plan with the media.
