Grand Annamacharya Anniversary Celebrations in Tirumala..

The 521st anniversary celebrations of the legendary poet Saint Annamacharya commenced under the aegis of TTD's Hindu Dharmic Projects.

The celebrations began grandly at the Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati. The Saptagiri Sankeertanas concert by the artists of the Annamacharya Project was particularly captivating. At 9 AM, artists from the Annamacharya Project along with local musicians performed the Saptagiri Sankeertanas melodiously. Songs like "Brahmakadigina Padamu Saranam" and "Hari Avatar Mitudu Annamayya Saranu Saranu" were sung, followed by Harati and Mahanivedana. In the evening, from 6 to 7 PM, the Padmapriya team from Tirupati, and from 7 to 8:30 PM, the Aarti team performed vocal music concerts.

From 8 to 11 AM near the Tallapaka Meditation Center, the Annamacharya Project artists held a Saptagiri Sankeertana concert. In the evening, from 6:30 to 8 PM, the Shyam Kumar team from Tirupati conducted a music session, and from 8 to 9:30 PM, the Ramesh Babu team performed Harikatha. At the 108-foot tall statue of Annamacharya on the Rajampeta-Kadapa highway, from 6:30 to 8 PM, the Annamacharya Project artists and the Mani team sang Annamacharya's keertanas. From 8 to 9:30 PM, the Venkata Krishnayya team from Tirupati presented Harikatha programs, organized by TTD Delhi. Dr. Akeella Vibheeshana Sharma, the director of the Annamacharya Project, along with the artists, participated in this event.
