Bathukamma festival is coming on October 14. Durgashtami and Maharnavami festivals are coming on October 22 and 23. The education department has clarified that the remaining two days are given as optional holidays. To this extent, Telangana Education Department has released a statement that Dussehra holidays are being given for the academic year 2023-24.
Summative assessment exams will be held from October 5 to October 11 in all types of schools in the state, it said in its statement. There will be two more school holidays this academic year. Telangana schools will have Christmas holidays from December 22 to 26 this year. After Christmas Sankranti holidays will come for 5 to 6 days. It is advised to observe these holidays. Intermediate Colleges, on the other hand, stated that holidays should be given from 19th to 25th.
