🚜 Central government is making available various schemes for farmers. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Scheme is one of the schemes announced by the Modi government for farmers. Through this scheme, the Center is depositing Rs.6000 per year in the accounts of the farmers. But this amount is being deposited in three installments of Rs.2000 each instead of at once. So far the farmers have received the 15th installment, but now the farmers are waiting for the 16th installment. In this background, till now it is not clear when the 16th installment of PM Kisan money will come, but now the date when the funds will be released has been finalized. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deposit the 16th installment of PM Kisan funds on 28th of this month.
📋 According to the information provided on the PM Kisan website.. Farmers receiving this PM Kisan must do eKYC (Electronic Know Your Customer). Note that farmers who have not done EKYC will not get this 16th installment. eKYC services can be availed at PM Kisan Portal or nearby Common Service Centers. The rationale behind implementing eKYC is to enable targeted beneficiaries to avail PM Kisan scheme benefits directly in their Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts.
