On the occasion of Palguna Poornami in Srisailam of Nandyala district, the Devasthanam grandly organized the Srishaila Giripradakshina program of Sribhamaramba Mallikarjunaswamy Ammavari.
After Swami Ammavarla Mahamangalaharatula, special pujas were performed and the Giripradakshina program was started as a palanquin procession. This hill circumambulation program started from the Rajagopuram of the temple. The Srisaila Giri Pradakshina program ended after reaching Gangadhara Mandapam, Ankalamma Temple, Nandi Mandapam, Gangasadanam, Bayalu Veerabhadraswamy Temple Panchamats, Mallamma Kanniru Pushkarini and returning via Nandi Mandapam to reach the Mahadwara of the temple. The temple officials said that the Giri Pradakshina program will be organized as part of the spiritual development of the area.
