Telangana assembly meetings resumed today. The election of Gaddam Prasad Kumar as Speaker of the Assembly was unanimous.
While the Congress proposed his name as the speaker, the opposition BRS expressed its support. Protem Speaker Akbaruddin Owaisi will announce the election of Speaker in the House. The Governor will address both the Houses tomorrow. A motion of thanks to the governor for his speech will be tabled and debated in the Ellundi Legislative Assembly and the Council separately.
The dialogue war between the ruling party Congress and the opposition party BRS is already going on. The new government has decided to release a white paper on the financial transactions that took place in all departments during the nine-year rule of BRS. BRS leaders are already giving counters on this issue. BRS is ready to challenge the ruling party on all the six guarantees in the assembly.
