Flood Havoc in Telugu States: PM Assures Support to CMs for Relief Efforts 🌊🇮🇳


Floods have created chaos in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi promising full support to the Chief Ministers of both states. With continuous heavy rainfall, the situation has become critical, especially around Budameru Vagu, as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu mentioned. Thousands of people are stranded on rooftops and in their homes. He stated that he is closely monitoring the situation and supervising the relief efforts. He blamed the previous government's neglect of the Budameru canal for this disaster. 🏠🚁

"We Will Provide All Help," Say the CMs

The Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have assured that their governments are doing everything possible to assist the affected people. They mentioned that food and other essential supplies are being delivered to the stranded people via boats. Additionally, those in need of medical assistance are being transported with the help of boats, and helpline numbers have been set up for the public. The CMs have promised to deploy more boats and bring in additional NDRF teams to aid in rescue operations. 🚤📞

Amit Shah Promises Support from the Centre 🤝

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also spoke with the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to review the flood situation in both states. He assured them of full support from the central government to combat the floods. A senior official from the Home Ministry said they are coordinating with senior officials from the flood-affected states and will deploy central teams to assess the damage caused by the rains. 🏛️🌧️

Nine Dead So Far, Relief Efforts Continue 🕊️

To assist those displaced from flood-hit areas, 100 relief and rehabilitation centers have been set up in the NTR, Krishna, Bapatla, Guntur, and Palnadu districts. Additionally, 61 medical camps have been established. Unfortunately, nine people have lost their lives due to the heavy rains so far. However, the police, NDRF, and SDRF teams have successfully rescued 600 people trapped in floodwaters. 🏥🚨
