A series of train accidents are causing concern. Recently there was a fire in the New Delhi-Darbhanga Express train.
A fire broke out in a train near Etawah in Uttar Pradesh.. Three bogies were burnt. Railway officials said that the incident took place on Wednesday evening near Sarai Bhupat station near Etawah in UP. A sudden fire broke out in S1 bogie and spread to two other bogies. When the train was passing through Sarai Bhupat station, the station master noticed smoke coming from the S1 bogie and immediately stopped the train. The crew then brought the passengers out safely. After that, after extinguishing the fire, the train started towards the destination. Some passengers sustained minor injuries in the accident. Railway officials believe that the fire may have happened due to a short circuit. However, a passenger said that they jumped out of the train windows as soon as they noticed the fire. 🚑🔥🚄
