Three-Month Road Closure: Warangal's Flood Mitigation Efforts Begin

Hey folks! 🚧 Big news coming your way if you're traveling between Karimnagar and Warangal! 🛣️ Due to some super important construction work to save Warangal city from flooding, there's going to be a halt on the main road for a whopping three months! 😲

The troublemaker causing all the floods? The Nayeenagar drain. But don't you worry, because the authorities have rolled up their sleeves to expand it and rebuild the bridge that's been causing bottlenecks. 🚜👷‍♂️

As vehicles start to queue up and traffic becomes a distant dream, officials have announced detours to make everyone's life a tad easier. Imagine, the old bridge just couldn't keep up with our fast-paced lives and every monsoon, it was like a water park on the roads! 💧🌉

Now, with a budget of 8.5 crores, the government's smashing the old bridge to bring in a new hero. Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Seetakka, and Konda Surekha have already set the ball rolling. And with monsoon on the horizon, they're racing against time to wrap up before June showers hit us. 🌦️

For those who can't wait to hit the road, remember, you gotta swing by Police Headquarters in Hanamkonda, Nayeenagar, and KU Junction. It's a bit of a roundabout route, but hey, it's all for a flood-free future, right?

So, while Nayeenagar bridge is getting a makeover, let's be patient and explore these alternate routes. Three months might seem long, but a safer road is definitely worth the wait! 🚗💨

Drive safe, everyone, and let's cheer on the work that'll keep our streets dry and travel smooth! 👏🚧
