🌿 With Ganesh Chaturthi just around the corner, Jana Sena Chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has urged people to celebrate the festival in an eco-friendly manner. He has directed officials to raise awareness among the public about the importance of worshipping clay idols on Ganesh Chaturthi.
🙏 Pawan Kalyan specifically advised that arrangements be made in Pithapuram to ensure that only clay Ganesh idols are used for the festivities. He emphasized the benefits of using eco-friendly materials during celebrations and festivals, stating that worshipping clay Ganesh idols is beneficial for the environment. He also called for reducing the use of plastic items and suggested that people should be educated on this matter.
🍃 Pawan Kalyan further suggested that prasadam in temples should not be distributed in butter paper covers but in eco-friendly alternatives like palm leaf baskets and leaf plates. He proposed that this initiative should start with the temples in Pithapuram.
