A car caused havoc in the Kookatpally Housing Board police station area on Saturday midnight. A drunken driver took the wrong route and hit two people on a two-wheeler. Two were seriously injured in the incident. A man went into a coma with a severe head injury. Another man was hospitalized with broken bones. The police have registered a case in connection with the incident and are investigating. Police have identified the person who drove the car as the nephew of former minister Indrakaran Reddy.
According to the police, Indrakaran Reddy's nephew Agraju Reddy was going back to Jedimet after partying at a pub in Gachibowli and his friends. On reaching Forum Circle under KBHB Police Station, a wrong-way Honda City car rammed into a two-wheeler which was going in the opposite direction. Four persons were traveling in the car in this incident. Police identified the person who drove at that time as Agraju Reddy, nephew of former minister Indrakaran Reddy. The police said that the accident took place when Address Reddy, who had recently returned from abroad, was returning from a party with his friends and was returning on the wrong route. Agras Reddy was given a drink and drive test and his alcohol percentage was 90 percent. The injured persons have been identified as workers from Rajasthan.
