Teja Sajja and Prashant Varma’s HanuMan hogged the limelight for its theme and appealing promotional content. The movie is clashing with Mahesh Babu’s Gunturkaaram on January 12th. Theaters issue has become a big talking point everywhere.
Dil Raju is using his clout in Nizam and is getting majority theaters in Hyderabad. “There are 76 operational single-screen theaters in Hyderabad. Out of that, if seventy are going to one film, you (the media) will have to decide if that is not monopoly or discrimination. Multiplexes will be given as per demand. We are not demanding all the theaters. Give us 15-20 theaters. Later audience will decide based on the content,”
HanuMan Producer Niranjan Reddy said. “Competition should be always healthy. If you are not given an opportunity to fight, that does not work like that. We are fighting for proper release so that we can prove the strength of our content. We are fighting for it and hope things will get better,” he said.
“Dil Raju asked us to come on 11th or 14th but we have problems with Hindi Business. So, we could not adjust,” the producer said. However, he says he is confident about the film’s content. “We will have trouble for 2-3 days but I trust my content. I believe the film will have a 5-6 weeks run,” he added. When asked if he would dare to release for Sankranthi once again. “I will take it up as a challenge. Not one Sankranthi, I will come for ten Sankranthis on a trot,” Niranjan Reddy confidently said. 🗣️🎥
