🏦 The penetration of Unified Payment Interface (UPI) services is increasing steadily. Now the names of Sri Lanka and Mauritius have also joined this list. Along with UPI, RuPay card services have also started in these two countries.
🌐 India is moving forward by strengthening fintech innovation and digital services networks, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement. Prime Minister Modi emphasized on sharing India's development experiences and innovations with partner countries.
🌍 Apart from India you can use UPI in Bhutan, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Oman, Qatar, Russia, France, Sri Lanka, Mauritius. UPI is also likely to be launched in Nepal soon.
🚀 Currently Indians traveling to countries where UPI services are available are making good use of this facility. But don't worry if you don't have a debit card while traveling in countries where UPI services are available. Payment can be made through UPI.
🌍 Apart from this, many European countries may also start this facility soon. UPI may also be launched soon in countries like Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Australia, USA, Bahrain, Japan, Philippines.
