Director Shocks to Kamal Haasan Linguswamy's Bombshell Accusation!

In a recent twist in Kollywood, Director Linguswamy has lodged a formal complaint against legendary actor Kamal Haasan. According to a report by India Today, the complaint, made alongside producer Subhash Chandra Bose within the producers' guild, accuses Kamal Haasan of breaching contractual commitments.

The controversy revolves around the 2015 film "Uttama Villain," directed by Ramesh Aravind and produced by Kamal Haasan in collaboration with Thirrupathi Brothers, owned by Linguswamy and Subhash Chandra Bose. Despite high expectations, the movie bombed at the box office, purportedly plunging the producers into debt. The producers allege that the financial failure of the film was exacerbated by Kamal Haasan's frequent script changes, which they claim led to its poor performance.

Linguswamy also revealed in an interview with Touring Talkies that after the failure of "Uttama Villain," Kamal Haasan had promised to collaborate on another project with a budget of INR 30 crores, which never materialized. He expressed disappointment, noting that Kamal Haasan had not responded to recent proposals to remake the film "Drishyam" and had gone on to work with another producer instead.

Linguswamy lamented that had he directed "Uttama Villain," the outcome might have been different, but as a producer, he had to face these losses. The situation reached a point where they felt compelled to file a complaint against Kamal Haasan for his alleged non-cooperation and frequent change of plans, which they believe have been a pattern in his career.
