A dead frog was found in a chips packet that a little girl was happily munching on. The incident occurred in Pushkardham Society, where Jasmin Patel bought a packet of chips from a local store for his 10-month-old daughter.
Jasmin's daughter, along with her 4-year-old cousin, had already eaten half of the chips the previous night. When they opened the packet in the morning, Jasmin's sister-in-law found a dead frog inside, causing immediate panic. Initially, Jasmin couldn't believe it, but upon checking, he was horrified to see the dead frog himself.
Angry and concerned, Jasmin reported the incident to the Jamnagar Municipal Corporation Food Branch. Food safety officers quickly arrived, inspected the packet, and confirmed the presence of the dead frog. They collected samples for testing and checked other packets from the same batch. People from Jamnagar and other regions are anxiously awaiting the test results.
Chips Manufacturer's Response
Balaji Wafers' manager, Jai Sachdev, responded to the incident by denying any possibility of such a mistake. He claimed that their plant uses state-of-the-art automatic machines that remove any defective potatoes. He requested a thorough investigation into the incident and assured that their goal is to provide clean products to consumers.
Another Shocker: Dead Rat in Syrup Bottle
In a separate incident, a woman found a dead rat in a Hershey's chocolate syrup bottle ordered online. Prami Sridhar shared a video on Instagram, revealing that three children in her family consumed the contaminated syrup and had to be taken to the hospital. She noticed small hairs while pouring the syrup and discovered the dead rat inside upon closer inspection. This incident follows another where a man from Mumbai found a piece of a human finger in an ice cream cone he ordered online.
