Consumer May Paid Total Amount Of Gas Cylinder For Mahalakshmi Scheme In Telangana 😃

It is known that the Congress government, which is implementing the six guarantees given in the election, will launch two more schemes on Tuesday.

It is known that the Congress government, which is implementing the six guarantees given in the election, will launch two more schemes on Tuesday. Free electricity up to 200 units and gas cylinder schemes for Rs.500 will be implemented. Meanwhile, the Mahalakshmi scheme is bringing down those with Ujjwala gas connections as well as regular ones. However, the civil supplies department has decided to make the beneficiaries pay the full amount when they get the gas cylinder. After that, the price paid in addition to Rs.500 is being prepared to be reimbursed through Direct Cash Transfer (DBT). 💸

It seems that the subsidy currently being paid by the central government will also be taken into consideration. If the price of a cylinder in Hyderabad is Rs.955, the beneficiary will pay Rs.500, central subsidy of Rs.40 and the remaining Rs.415 will be deposited in the bank account as state government subsidy. 💰

However, cities, towns and villages have different prices. If it is Rs.955 in Hyderabad, it is Rs.970 and 974 in other cities because of the difference in transport charges. There are 11.58 lakh bright gas connections in the state. They are getting a subsidy of Rs.340 per cylinder from the Centre. The central subsidy in the price paid for the cylinder by the beneficiaries selected in the Mahalakshmi scheme will not go away. It seems that the state government will pay the remaining amount if it is more than Rs.500. For example, if the price of a cylinder is Rs.970, the beneficiary has to pay Rs.500, central subsidy is Rs.340 and Rs.130 is deposited as state government subsidy. The government has taken this decision not to put the burden on the public even if the price of the cylinder is additional with the transport charges to distant areas. 🚌

On the other hand, it is informed that the authorities will hand over the list of beneficiaries under the Mahalakshmi scheme to the oil marketing companies on Monday. Advance amount will also be paid. To this extent, the Civil Supplies Department issued an order on Saturday allowing the release of Rs.80 crores. According to the number of cylinders given to the beneficiaries, the state government is making arrangements so that the subsidy amount is paid to the oil companies from time to time. 💼
