CM Meeting: CPI Leader Narayana's Advice for Telugu States 🌟

CPI leader Narayana has advised the Chief Ministers of the two Telugu states to engage in positive discussions for the benefit of their respective regions. He emphasized that reacting aggressively to provocations is unnecessary. On July 6th, the CMs of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will meet at Hyderabad's Prajabhavan, a significant event described as a "blessed day." 🏛️

Narayana's Key Points:

  • Constructive Dialogue: The CMs should sit together and have a positive discussion about state benefits, ensuring they work harmoniously.

  • Telugu People's Welfare: They should focus on the welfare of Telugu-speaking people and strive to secure the benefits mentioned in the bifurcation law.

  • Resolving Disputes: They should protect their states' rights while resolving issues amicably. This includes sensitive topics like the Polavaram project and water disputes, and discussing the submerged areas in Bhadrachalam.

  • Historical Context: Narayana reminded that water issues existed in the unified state but were internal. However, due to changed political and regional conditions, these issues have become more public.

  • Unity in Language: Despite geographical separation, Telugu-speaking people remain united. Sentiment alone cannot always provide a solution; practical and permanent political solutions are necessary.

  • Pressure on Central Government: Both CMs should exert pressure on the Central Government regarding unresolved bifurcation promises to find a resolution.

Narayana concluded by stating that while various opinions about the meeting will circulate, they should be ignored. The focus should remain on achieving tangible results for both states.
